Its me again, time to do some work. Today, I shall tell you how important and the responsibilities of a wildlife biologist. As you know from the word "wildlife", it will be talking about our environment and Earth.
The responsibilities about this career is that we must make sure that none of any endangered and not endangered species of the animals to fall into extinction and manage the amount of animals roaming in this particular place. Wildlife biologist also observe the weathers, diseases and habitat alteration on wildlife population.
There are special techniques used by wildlife biologist in the wild include radio tracking, aerial surveys, trapping, marking and computer modeling.
This special job also needed a high qualification to get in it. You will need a degree in the biological sciences with: at least 9 semester hours in such wildlife subjects as mammalogy, ornithology, animal ecology, wildlife management, wildlife techniques, or related courses in the field of wildlife biology; and at least 12 semester hours in zoology in such subjects as general zoology, invertebrate zoology, vertebrate zoology, comparative anatomy, physiology, genetics, ecology, cellular biology, parasitology, entomology, or research courses in such subjects (Excess courses in wildlife biology may be used to meet the zoology requirements where appropriate.); and at least 9 semester hours in botany or related plant sciences. Candidates may also meet the basic requirements at all grade levels with a combination of experience and course work as described above and this is only for the non-research position. There are also the research position which needed a much higher degree of studies and a lot of semester of other related subjects which are almost the same as the non-research job.
This job also has higher rank, a senior staff biologist can be promoted to be a Field Supervisor and many more as wildlife biologist has been divided to other kinds like regional wildlife biologist, so it has many other ranks.
